We host an open evening for prospective students and parents in the autumn each academic year. You will have the opportunity to meet our staff and students, explore our facilities, learn about our curriculum and enrichment opportunities and hear from our Principal. We ask that all families register in advance to attend our open events.

Congratulations to the Drama students who successfully completed the Old Vic Schools Club programme. Throughout the year, students participated in four specialist workshops exploring a range of backstage theatre skills, including directing, lighting, props, and costume design.

At The City Academy, Hackney, we are proud to see former SCITT trainees now thriving as qualified teachers within our schools. Robert trained with us through the SCITT programme in 2025 and is now a Maths teacher at our school, supporting the next generation of students. His journey highlights the challenges, support and rewards that come with training to teach.
