Have you, or someone you know, ever considered a career in teaching music? We’re excited to announce that, for the first time, we are offering a dedicated Music pathway as part of our School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme, delivered in partnership with the national education charity, Teach First. Our SCITT programme provides a flexible route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in just one year. From day one, trainees are based in school, gaining hands-on classroom experience while developing their subject expertise, supported by experienced mentors and a strong training network. Apply via the City of London Academies Trust website. Applications close on Friday 22 May.
