The City Academy, Hackney offers a broad range of AS, A level and BTEC courses. In addition to the general entry requirements, some subjects specify a minimum GCSE grade required or partnering subjects. For instance students who wish to study physics should also study mathematics.
Option blocks for September 2026
Choose three subjects, from separate blocks. You cannot select more than one subject from a block. In exceptional circumstances, we allow students to take 4 A-Levels. Please indicate this on your application form.
