Principal’s Update
Published: Mon 9 March 2026Dear Parents/Carers,
Our students have been in the middle of a very busy mock exam period with their Spring assessments but we still found time to celebrate World Book Day: across the academy, students took part in several activities including a Find a Fact competition, book giveaways in the Lee Library and Reading Recommendations on every classroom door.
During Monday’s assembly, students also watched a video created by our Reading Champions about how reading supports our mental health. You can watch the video here.
TCAH Charity Run – Bobby Moore Fund
Last week, all TCAH students took part in a 2km charity run to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. Students across every year group showed great enthusiasm as they aimed to complete the course in their best time, with several staff members also joining in.
If you would still like to support this cause, donations can be made here.

Outward Bound Trip
Students on the Outward Bound trip in Wales had a wonderful time in the Spring sunshine. They had a go at climbing, canoeing, overnight camping and swimming in a waterfall (brr!) This trip helps to develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and independence and is a really enriching experience for all who participate.
