Help and advice

We know that growing up can be difficult and whilst it is normal to experience mood swings and times when you feel low, there may be occasions when you need more support. There are always people ready to listen and help you at school, please speak to your tutor or head of house if you would like to speak to someone about getting support.

You should always speak to someone you trust if you or a friend are experiencing are facing any of these issues. We are always here to help at school and will always listen in a non-judgemental way. Our aim is to help you to find a way to improve your mental health and wellbeing.

What are ‘Attitude to learning’ grades?

Your child’s report will give them a grade for Effort, Behaviour and Homework.
These three categories reflect the students’ attitude to learning.
This will be given for each subject your child studies.
Effort, Homework and Behaviour are in separate columns on each report.

Each of the letters used is a grade given by the subject teacher.
